We had our wedding reception here in August 2023. From the first encounter with Kurt and Lisa to the very day of our wedding they made us feel safe and excited about all they had to offer. We are big fans of their food; so we were already aware of how good it would be. Kurt had great ideas for catering and didn’t let us down. A lot of our family rented out rooms upstairs. They were extremely comfortable and it was great to put them to bed there after a night party! The venue outside was perfect for us. We had about 70-80 guests, lots of room for dancing and their bartender was a hit! We highly recommend, as a sweet spot for your wedding venue— the back pavilion is perfect— dressed up down, or in between (that was ours)— it is a piece of the Catskills and a family gathering spot that will not let you down.

Great food, good service, and Kurt the owner usually always stops by your table to say hi while you’re there, which is nice. Lisa is always on her game when you come in the door, very nice friendly people that operate this establishment, and they have worked hard to make it a place where you want to go. The prices are very reasonable, drinks are sturdy, and the portions aren’t lacking.

Fabulous restaurant - I ate there twice and totally enjoyed it. The rooms and bathrooms are beautifully refurbished, but evaluate your needs carefully before booking. My room was on the top (3rd) floor; there is no elevator. Room #8 is quite small (sloping ceilings, a big dresser with 9 drawers, a very tall queen bed with more drawers underneath it--I didn't need all this storage space for a 3-night stay). I am petite and found it difficult to get into the tall bed, even when the owner kindly supplied a step stool. The lack of a chair in the room was an issue for me, as there are no public areas to sit except for the breakfast area on the 2nd floor, which has two tables. The details of the room and lack of public space were not clear to me from the website photos. I'm used to having a living room/public space in B&Bs of this vintage, but the whole main floor is the restaurant. Re breakfast: there's a Keurig machine, packaged rolls, fresh fruit, cereal boxes. I brought my own food and milk along since I wasn't sure what I'd find (website doesn't specify). I was in the area for a weekend conference and am not sure I'd stay here again (the larger rooms are more pricey), but I'd definitely eat here again.

Fantastic food! Everything is delicious. Lisa is a great hostess and the wait-staff is top notch. Pretty much every Friday we look forward to getting a white pizza to go! Can't recommend them enough!

We had to spend one night and The Hidden Inn was great! We were on our road trip with a baby. We booked The Hidden Inn same day and everything was extremely smooth. The room access system is great! We arrived late and had no issues getting into our room. We loved it. Everything was very comfortable, clean and simple. I think we were the only guests that night. We think that if more quests would have been in the house, we could hear everything. Walls are thin. I could hear my husband making a bagel in the lobby kitchen. But other than that - great stay!

My family and I stayed at the Hidden Inn for two nights recently and we cannot say enough good things. We had three of the rooms, all of which were decorated differently but all beautiful. Everything was extremely clean and well equipped. The bathrooms are updated and spacious. We also had dinner at the Inn and, wow. Honestly, several of the members of our party said they haven’t had a meal as good as that in forever. The shrimp & chorizo, stuffed sole and filet were all incredible. The s’mores cheesecake…to die for. Seriously, 10/10 - we are not local by any means but cannot wait to visit again!

My husband and I dined at the restaurant and also stayed overnight at the Hidden Inn. I have nothing negative to say about the experience. It’s a gorgeous, warm little spot tucked away in the country with a welcoming and professional staff. Shout out to Lisa, especially, who was a fantastic hostess. The food was amazing (highly recommend the Cauliflower steak), and the rooms were tidy, cozy, and just what we needed for our road trip from NYC to Geneva. Highly recommend this gem!
